Our Team
Operations supervisors, controls engineers, and WMS architects who have worked inside the facilities this software is built for.
CEO & Co-Founder
Malik spent three years as a sortation operations supervisor at a Memphis-area regional parcel hub, running peak-season operations for a 6-lane crossbelt sorter. That experience—watching the same throughput gap appear every November despite perfectly functioning hardware—led directly to Sortwyre. He holds an MBA in supply chain management from the University of Memphis.
CTO & Co-Founder
Dara spent six years as a senior controls engineer at Honeywell Intelligrated, building PLC integration layers and OPC-UA data pipelines for material handling systems across the Southeast. She designed the OPC-UA integration architecture that sits at the core of Sortwyre’s optimization loop.
Head of Product
Nils spent five years as a solution architect at Manhattan Associates, implementing Manhattan Active WMS at mid-size fulfillment operators. He brings direct knowledge of how WMS reconciliation and sorter confirmation data flow across the systems Sortwyre integrates with.
Controls Engineer
Priya studied industrial engineering at Georgia Tech, where she focused on real-time control system modeling and process optimization for manufacturing and logistics environments. She works on the PLC interface layer and sensor data ingestion pipeline.
Software Engineer
James also studied industrial engineering at Georgia Tech, with a concentration in systems analysis and data engineering. At Sortwyre he builds the optimization engine backend and the WMS export connectors for Manhattan, HighJump, and SAP EWM.
